Un homme parcourt l’Argentine avec son arme d’instruction massive

Cette incroyable construction digne d’un film poétique de Michel Gondry est le fruit de l’imagination de l’artiste argentin Raul Lemesoff. Construite à partir d’une vieille Ford Falcon de 1979, cette arme d’instruction massive sillonne les villes et villages argentins. La guerre contre l’ignorance est déclarée.

À bord de son char baptisé « Weapon of Mass Instruction« , Raul Lemesoff distribue gratuitement les 900 livres qu’il peut transporter. L’artiste récupère les munitions via des dons de particuliers et à l’occasion de la Journée Mondiale du Livre (World Book Day), la marque 7UP (Argentine) a organisé la semaine dernière la campagne #FeelsGoodToBeYou avec la diffusion d’un reportage vidéo. Une folie pétillante.

Raul Lemesoff is an eccentric, original artist from Buenos Aires who is working with 7UP Free as part of the #FeelsGoodToBeYou campaign celebrating true original talent.

“Weapons of Mass Instruction” is a 1979 Ford Falcon Lemesoff transformed into a travelling library, offering free books to all as a “contribution to peace through literature” and encouraging education and reading.

The vehicle serves a very serious function; with around 900 books on the car’s “shelves” at any given time. Lemesoff provides free reading materials to anyone inclined to pluck one from the collection. The tank may look militant but it has a very serious function, it tours through Argentina’s urban centers and rural communities alike
